The Fleet of MFS Parallax.

The MFS Parallax is the only Amphibous Command Vessel in MFI. Capable of operating in space, as awell as terrain touchdown, Parallax is specially fitted with a special sensor and communications dome, it can coordinate the efforts of the entire Maquis movement or a large battle group. As well as a communications hub, it is also converted as a Carrier, holding several Ju'Day class fighters as well as several Peregrine class Raiders. Founded as a dual chapter of STARFLEET, The International Star Trek Fan Association, Inc and Maquis Forces International, The Parallax calls MFI it's home. Commissioned in MFI in 2001 and later that year in SFI through the Existing Fan Club Program (EFCP), she's gone through an interesting past as one of the most dynamic chapters of either organization.

Parallax is also home to the Third Executive Protection Group of the Special Security Division, the arm of SSD that provides protection to the IC.

The Parallax's motto, "Tertius Vox," is a rough translation from the English term "The Power of Three," which is in deference to the two Sister ships of the Parallax, the MFS Nebula and the MFS Sutherland, the founding ships of MFI.
