Everything went according to plan until we blew the charges, nothing big just enough "boom" to fuze all the circuits into one big blob of junk. Just as the sparks settled we could hear hover trucks approaching from the West. They would have to have been blind not to see the smoke billowing off of the generator and out of the control room. Through the trees we could see the trucks slowing on the road below, then we heard rifle grenades detonate and "Val" open op with his M-41. The "Doc" [[User:Dgillis|PO1 Brinn, Tala]] looked at me and said "I guess things are going to Hal with a bucket now?" I shook my head and told her "It's hell in a hand basket Doc." She gave me a confused look and I said "Not now Doc".

He swung the barrel over the log and emptied the rifle downrange toward the Breen. The bolt locked back on the empty magazine and he reloaded again. After making L.O.H.A.O. (Low Orbit High Altitude Open) parachute drops from SOC PAVE Intruder runabouts, SEALS Teams One, Three, Four, Five and Six force marched various distances under cover of darkness. Avoiding detection and contact with the enemy, SEALS Team members constructed hide sites for their rest periods during the daylight hours.

SEALS Teams One was tasked with destroying the number one and number five planetary shield generators and their associated control centers.

SEALS Three was ordered to secure the number three prison camp

SEALS Team Four was tasked with destroying the number Two and Three generators. Team Fours "B" Section had little difficulty taking their objective, however "A" Section encountered an entire company of Breen infantry returning from a field excercise. Here's their story.

LtCmr James Edward Bartholomew "JEB" Longtooth reporting.

Through the trees we could see the trucks slowing on the road below, then we heard rifle grenades detonate and "Val" open up with his M-41. The "Doc" PO1 Brinn, Tala looked at me and said "I guess things are going to Hal with a bucket now?" I shook my head and told her "It's hell in a hand basket Doc." She gave me a confused look and I said "Not now Doc".

Upon seeing the hover trucks slow in front of the cutoff to the generator compound PO2 Valter "Val" DeMort quickly launched two grenades into the back of the lead truck as it rolled to a stop, the blasts killing or maiming all aboard in the explosions. He turned to the second truck and began raking his fire across the troop compartment. Breen started tumbling out of the back of the truck, trying to return fire. Val sent a grenade into their midst and was surprised when by the size of the explosion, his frag had caused the sympathetic detonation of a Breen grenade, killing all in the small cluster. The Breen were staring to get organized and were beginning to return fire in his general vicinity. He moved three meters to the left and fired a burst killing two more enemies. He continued this fire and maneuver tactic several times, each time killing one or two more Breen. The Breen began throwing grenades along the small hillside as he continued his attacks. After several near misses from weapons fire Val’s luck ran out, a frag grenade went off only a few feet away. Searing pain engulfed him as the hot shrapnel peppered his left side. He felt his arm hanging limp at his side. He took a few painful steps and fell behind a fallen log, landing on his right side.
