Fan Film Projects

• Farragut Studio Two Farragut Films Note that most of these have a FB presence you can search out... The sets are in Kingsland GA, not far from Jacksonville FL...

  • Dreadnought Dominion Project The Dreadnought Dominion Project takes place at the end of the third season of Star Trek (TOS, produced from 1966-70). Dominion introduces a Federation Class Starship with a tri-nacelle configuration first introduced in the “Star Trek Starfleet Technical Manual,” by Franz Joseph Designs (©1975 used with permission). This exciting new series chronicles the voyages of the U.S.S. Dominion NCC-2115 and her crew, commanded by Commodore Samuel Tobias Grissom. The mission is one of deep space exploration, visiting Earth colonies, patrolling the Romulan Neutral Zone, and first contact with new civilizations.
  • Exeter Trek Set in the era between Pike and Kirk, this production features pilot era look and props. A work in progress with a redesigned web page. (The Exeter Trek Wiki has apparently been removed...?)
    • Moving forward with excellent quality uniforms, amazing original designed alien antagonists, superb pilot era custom props -- footage is already being videoed with more to come.
    • UPDATE: Interiors recently shot with an uncanny retro look and feel. Unique time frame seldom explored.
  • Farragut Films recently announced plans to add a new Farragut production Farragut Forward (in the movie era) to run concurrently, with new episodes from both TOS and TMP era ships... Plans are for a new studio in the DC area for the new sets...
    • Starship Polaris (non-Trek) Currently in post-production... May not be a Farragut Studio production but shares some Farragut talent.
• Original TOS era Starship Exeter Fan film group finished their latest excellant film/vid in 2014... Only took about 10 years but well worth it... Other stuff done previously as well...
• Starship Ajax Another group in OK building a Saladin class Destroyer... Starship Ajax FB
• Starship Saladin The Saladin bridge is actually a photo of the Farragut bridge set, with some work done to make the consoles animated.
• Star Trek Eagle: "Past Regrets" I am told they have their own sets...
• Retro Film Studios or Retro Film Studios LLC Ticonderoga NY...
  UPDATE: They are currently in a new studio facility and working to expand their sets...

• Project Potemkin Sets in SW GA... Albany GA... Very nice work...
  • DEC 2014 UPDATE: Well the bad news is that the Potemkin studio owner to moving to another state. The sets have already been started to be broken down. No word on what is next. We hope the project will find new energy to reset and move forward.
• Star Trek: Elokomin Another fan film group located in SE GA... May use the Potemkin sets (now doubtful)... TMP era...
• Star Trek Anthology Self described as: A new web series based in the TOS STAR TREK universe. Think Trek + Twilight Zone + a pinch of Galaxy Quest = ANTHOLOGY.
