Research Tips, Clues, and Links

The Internet Archive Wayback Machine is an ongoing project to capture snapshots of what is on the web at any given point in time. In their own words "The Internet Archive is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that was founded to build an Internet library, with the purpose of offering permanent access for researchers, historians, and scholars to historical collections that exist in digital format. Founded in 1996 and located in the Presidio of San Francisco, the Archive has been receiving data donations from Alexa Internet and others. In late 1999, the organization started to grow to include more well-rounded collections. Now the Internet Archive includes texts, audio, moving images, and software as well as archived web pages in our collections."

Awesome Indeed.

The " Wayback Machine: MFI Pages" link shows you an archive of our website. They have pages for maquis.com as far back as 1998. I think the most pages they have for us was in 2003 before our conversion to Wiki. This will help MFI Historians fill in some gaps in our memory!

Thanks due to Will and Gary for finding this tool and passing it on... so have FUN poking about!
