Notice to Stand Down

To: FADM R. G. Johnson, Ret.
MFI Chief of Staff

22 December 2010, 2351 EST

FADM Johnson: (FADM Doane:)

Per the certification of General Christina Doane as International Coordinator-Elect, (promoted to the rank of Force Admiral last night to allow her the authority to begin transition operations) by Brigadier General Marc Easterly, Election Coordinator; I hereby notify you that I intend to stand down as International Coordinator and Commander-in-Chief of Maquis Forces International, effective at 2100 EST, 23 December 2010. An email will be transmitted to HQ at that time where I will officially stand down. At that point, Force Admiral Christina Doane will act and be, in her official capacity in that office. Please take whatever measures you feel are necessary to ensure a smooth transition for her and her incoming staff; and I appreciate your continued service in the third and the incoming fourth administration of MFI.
