NOTE: Much of this is simply excerpts from other places... It is NOT 'sposed to make much sense... LOL

AND NOW for our PEGASUS Mission...

BTW, I figure this is a couple of years later after NV and also after the first mission aboard Serendipity which we really never got started on. I figure that "Tornado" is more of a seasoned, senior full Lieutenant by now. VERY good at being a Chief of Security... Perhaps should have been higher in rank by now but might have had a few extreme moments when she got a little too intense with the bad guys or perhaps she expressed her disagreement in using tamer tactics a little too forcibly to a superior... LOL--you can choose or take a third option of your design. <GRIN>

    • For now we are short crewed on Serendipity. You and me as PCs for now. No actual Skipper or XO. An EMH is available. About 10 NPCs or so. [mix of security, engineering,
    • You are helping out a good deal manning the Conn as pilot/navigator/duty officer.
    • We shouldn't expect any trouble prior to our arrival at DS9 in our freighter mode. As simply the freighter Serendipity.
    • The station sensor sweeps should only detect a few communication and mining mineral survey probes as stores for our launchers. The good stuff is well shielded...
    • We have some special cargo that could be easily identified as mining equipment...
    • Keep the ship on ready standby, warmed up when we get there... we may not be long...
    • We are supposed to pickup our Doctor (Bibbs character) at the station and perhaps one or two minor science/engineering experts [NPCs or ...]
    • Logan and Chris may or may not impact our time there... <grin>
    • we are equipt with a normal cloak but prefer not to be public about using it

The Ship

To most observers, the ship was the standard Ju'day class freighter, one of thousands plying the trade routes to, from, and amoung the fringes of the Federations territory. On the outside she was not much to look at, typical in that she carried numerous odd and usually unidentifiable external modifications and upgrades. Nothing to betray the fact that she was really a Maquis Raider, MFS Serendipity.

On-board the Serendipity, Chief Engineer and acting Captain Ten-of-Nine looked over the engineering readouts once again. To most engineers all was well, but Ten was more demanding than most. He craved perfection plus ten percent. The ships engines were already running at nearly warp 8, well above the rated nominal warp 6 plus.

Systems

We are on MFS Serendipity, a Maquis Raider see: http://wiki.maquis.com/w/MFI_RP_SIM/MFS_Serendipity which pretends to be a common freighter.

See http://wiki.maquis.com/w/Maquis_Raider#Design_Specifications for our basic outfitting. Of interest to you, there are 4 Type IX Phaser Banks, 4 Torpedo Launchers, a total 24 torps, Modulating Deflector Shields, Ablative Armor, and a working cloak. Our ship "looks" like a poorly maintained POS but actually is in surprisingly good systems/fighting shape. We are rated warp 5, but can actually sustain warp 6.8 indefinately and do upwards of 7.9+ for a couple of hours.

We carry in torp stores: 2 comm buoys [double as remote sensor/transporter relay buoys], 4 mining/survey drones [double as very advanced long range sensors], and 18 mixed torpedos [for now use your imagination as to types]. The comm and survey drones look like normal frontier/badlands usage types to most sensor scans. The other torps are well shielded to sensor sweeps.

Your armory is a single space according to the blueprint... but there might be a few things hidden elsewhere. We have a small crew so I am guessing you would only have 2 or 3 dedicated security types. Being maquis, there is a larger chance you would have several dual role persons available. [ie: Security/Engineer, security/navigator, etc]
