Greetings. My name is Force Captain Gary Hollifield, Jr., and I am the founder and current Commanding Officer of the Maquis Space Station Yangtze Khyam. We supply, restore, refuel, and restock all of the Maquis ships within the major spaceway from the Alpha Quadrant into the Badlands. We also provide maximum security holding cells for fugitives and other "guests" as needed.

The Yangtze also has one of the largest forensic research facilities in all of the Maquis, rivaling even those on Empok Nor. We have the largest medical facilities on hand to ensure our comrades receive the quickest and most absolute medical care in all of Maquis-dom, and we can refuel 14 cruisers while refitting up to 10 destroyers at any one point in time. To say we are "big" is an understatement. But enough about my station, I guess you want to know a little about me, eh?

I joined Starfleet right out of high school. I graduated suma cum laude and was sent directly to service as a Lieutenant aboard the USS Rockingham in 2365. Seven years and a Dominion War later, I am Captain of the USS Sailor Mist, and while on routine patrol, we are ordered to "evacuate" some locals. There was no pending harm, no one wanted to attack, it was just that the upper ups in Starfleet saw this planet as a "tactical advantage" and sending the Prime Directive to hell, ordered us to get rid of the planet's indigenous races.

I am not one about to uproot 14 billion people, so I mutinied, along with the rest of my ship, and we took over an old space station, set on the outside of federation space, but just close enough to the action to be able to "make a damn".
