Who Are the ARC Angels

We are a group of people who are into gaming and interested in various things that are Sc-Fi and Fantasy. Some of our us are even LARPers(Live Action Role Playing). The only difference between you and us is that we get together to play paintball, particulary Military Simulation/Scenario and we play as much as we can.

OUR GOAL

Our goal is to attract people from the Fandom and Gaming communities to this great sport. One of the things that make Scenario paintball fun is the imagination and creativity put into the games. We all know how creative gamers and fandom people are (Just look at Maquis.com). Mix this with the heart pounding rush of paintball and you will have some amazing games.

The two people that started this team are also the same that formed the 1MOAB.

So in other word bring us your Klingon's,Vulcan's,Romulan's. Bring us your Jedi your Sith your stormtrooper and clonetroopers. The sting last seconds but the memories last forever.

Starting Out ?

The best package would be the Tippmann 98 power pack

The power pack comes with a mask, marker and a 9oz Co2 tank. Most stores have power pack options for various other markers, so if you don't want a Tippmann 98, you can allways explore other options but remember these packs will vary in price.

No matter what type of paintball you play, Tippmann has been a leading company in the world of paintball from the games very creation. Their products have been known to be reliable, affordable and can take one hell of a beating. This makes the Tippmann the leading choice for field rentals.

Outdoor vs Indoor

Outdoor: These fields are larger and most of the time in wooded areas where there is lots of nature to conceal yourself. These fields if designed for scenario gaming usually resemble a combat zone that you may find in the world. The fields would have bunkers, hills and trenches. For speedball the fields would be smaller and contain sporadic bunkers made of boxes, tires, and small vehicles, or inflatable bunkers that are seen in tournament games.

Indoor: These fields are smaller and would resemble an urban combat zone consisting of 1 and 2 story buildings and vehicles would provide cover through out the field. Since these fields are smaller, the games played on these fields are faster paced and more up close and personal. For scenario players, these fields are the field of choice to play games that simulate close quarter battle and urban warfare. For speedball these fields would be the standard for tournament games and exactly like outdoor fields they would consist of the inflatable bunkers.

Scenario vs Speedball

Speedball: is your standard tournament game in other words this is the sport version of paintball. Speedball is organizes the same way as any other sports leauge, you have your teams witch have rankings and they all compete for the championship. A speedball game is fast, hence the name most of the games don't last over 10 minutes. The markers that are used by speedball players tend to shoot 24 to 32 balls per second and the style of the player is more aggressive. Speedball uniforms and markers generally characterized by their bright colours.

Scenario: is simulated battle, these games differ from speedball because of a tournament format these games would be designed with missions. Two opposing sides are given missions to accomplish to win. For example Team A is given the mission of capturing the flag from inside Team B's territory; Team B is given the mission of preventing Team A from capturing the flag, Players for these games vary depending on their individual positions. Scenario uniforms and markers are generally characterized by their likeness to real life military uniforms and weapons.
