The New Witch
A Ju'Day Class Freighter/Cutter; used by the Federation during the Cardassian conflicts.
After serving with the Starfleet Merchant Marine Command, the Witch of Endor (the 3rd ship to bear that name) was de-commisioned. However, before she could be moth-balled or even have her weapons removed; several of the crew resigned thier commisions & joined the Maquis. Unlike many other Maquis Raiders the Witch wasn't outfitted with secondary & "cast-off" equipment. Her crew has a great deal of experience with thier ship, & with the ways & tactics of the Cardassians.
