Having come from a long line of diplomats, Breimh utilizes the skills learned at the knee of his sire and grandsire, while navigating the Science-Scout crew of the Aurora through negotiations with the Maquis counsel and other delegates as readily as the ship navigates through the badlands.

While not entirely against Starfleet, as some Maquis are, Breimh realizes that the core body of the organization needs cleaning out before it can be healed, much like an infection that is rotting deep within. He leads a crew who feel sad at the plight of so many caught in the dire situation of losing their sense of purpose, dignity, and way of life because of the edicts of those in power; and through their own sorrow and compassion, they are guided to continue to try to bring compromise, understanding and harmony to others within the Maquis.

The Aurora crew are the quintessential ideal of the ancient warriors of myriad races, fighting to persevere over incredible odds, showing that they are not merely combatants driven to spill blood and bring about pain for it's own sake, but rather confronting those who would believe themselves better than others and seeking to show such through a show of force - be it political, financial, physically or through shear willpower - and striving to put a stop to such activities.
