Before joining the Maquis, I served as a Captain in the another Fleet. They court-marshalled me for following the direct orders of a Rear-Admiral where as I was to endanger my crew. I denied the order because the endagered sense of his orders would have left me alive and my crew left for dead. To this day I do not regret the decision that saved the lives of my crew, but the damage in the form of stripped from command and reduced in rank wasn't enough for the powers that be. No, they wanted to send me to a Penal planet for ten years. I was allowed to visit my family shortly after that, and so I found a way off the planet and found my true calling as a Member of The Maquis.
