Authorization Order 3009 - Flagship Replacement and Commissioning Order


WHEREAS, The International Coordinator of MFI, serves as Commander-in-Chief of the Force; and

WHEREAS, the Maquis Forces Ship Parallax has notably and nobly served Maquis Forces International since 2001; and

WHEREAS, the IC believes the Parallax should be retired to allow for the most advanced technology available to be used in defense and exploration on behalf of the Maquis Forces.

NOW THEREFORE, I, Samuel S. H. Cummings, pursuant to the powers vested in me as International Coordinator and Commander-in-Chief of Maquis Forces International, hereby ORDER the following:

1. Declassification of the MFS WAKE ISLAND program.

  • The MFS WAKE ISLAND Program was being used as a cover to construct a completely new class of starship in secrecy, while still allowing for the allotment of resources, the new Premonition Class Dreadnought.


2. Naming of Pre Commissioning Unit in MFS WAKE ISLAND program.

  • The Pre Commissioning Unit shall be named as the first ship of her class, PCU Premonition, to be changed to MFS Premonition immediately following commissioning as an active vessel in the Maquis Forces, with hull registry of NCV-01, and Maquis Registry per the Department of Membership.


3. Decommissioning of MFS Parallax and redesignation to Decommissioned Unit.

  • Immediately following the commissioning of the MFS Premonition, the MFS Parallax is to be decommissioned and stricken from the Maquis Forces Vessel Registry. DCU Parallax will either be re-assigned by the IC or scuttled in Weapons tests. All crew and company registered with Parallax are to be transferred to the Premonition


4. Transfer of the Flag of the Force.

  • Upon commissioning of the PCU Premonition, but prior to the decommissioning of MFS Parallax, the Flag of the Force shall be transferred; forthwith and without delay, to MFS Premonition, at which time the Premonition shall be the Flagship of Maquis Forces.


5. Invalidity of any part of this order shall not effect the remainder of this order.

6. This order is effective immediately upon filing.
