Division Bylaw 1001 - Creation of Bylaw System

The Office of the Director recognises and acknowledges that previous systems regarding legislative documents have failed, been over-used and not exercised in appropriate circumstances.

In response to this and following past conversations with the International Coordinator of the Maquis Forces International, the Division Bylaw System is hereby created as the primary Legislative System of the Division.

The Bylaw System shall be a reference of all major orders as well as the authorisation for such orders to come into effect within the Division. Any Bylaws authorised shall apply only to the Division and not to the Club itself.

Division Bylaws can only be authorised by the Director of the Division from his/her User Account employing the standard template. The Division Director shall by form of Division Bylaw and by public post to the Division Listserv advise the membership of any temporary inability to conduct duties relating to the Office of the Director and activate the right of the Assistant Director to create Temporary Enforcement Orders in his/her absence.

Temporary Enforcement Orders are in effect until the Office of the Director is resumed by the Director. Upon the return of the Director, the TEO must either be superceded or ratified by the Director and entered into the Bylaw Archive as such.

As Authorised At SIM FORCES COMMAND, 25 October 2008.
