Marine Specific Awards

All of the MFI awards are available to members of the MFMC. You may view them at MFI Hall of Honor

Below are the specific awards authorized by the Commandant and General Staff, specifically for MFI Marines. However, members of other MFI Branches are certainly welcome to apply to the Commandant for their members to be awarded a MFMC award. All MFMC awards fall into one of three categories: Achievement, Service or Training. In - ALL - matters of precedence, Achievement awards are worn ahead of Service ribbons, which are worn above/ahead of Training ribbons. Only the "Order of the Maquis" is ever set alone. With that sole exception, ribbons are added in the order earned.

MFI has always "made its own" ribbons, so as to assure supply, keep costs down, provide MFI members with a unique award, and comply with the Civil Air Patrol's request that we not use their ribbons.
