Over the next year, Commodore Cummings restructured the Academy, introducing several new programs that remain, including a numbering system for courses and the first long-term complete online testing solution, which reduced the workload on the Academy staff.

MFS Constellation (2004)

MFS Constellation was the first ship command for Cummings. Constellation was an Oberth class light science and medical relief vessel with a minimum crew compliment, more geared for scientific exploration and emergency relief equipment. The MFS Constellation was destroyed during an accident of a classified nature which claimed the lives of most of the crew.

Computer Operations (2004-2006)

Computer Operations Headquaters

Before coming to the Computer Operations, Cummings was granted the rank of Rear Admiral. Arriving as the relief well deserved of Vice Admiral Robertson, Cummings brought the same radical changes as he had in his former commands. While the exact location of the Computer Operations Campus was made classified for security purposes, almost the entire campus facility is buried deep within a mountain range on a Class-L planet. The barren, frozen wasteland of the planet provides a secure and protective environment, the geothermal energy gives the Computer Operations Campus facilities virtually unlimited energy and heat resources. He began restructuring the Computer Operations Department, breaking up assigned duties, so that in the event of an incapacity, the website and other CompOps operations would not falter because of its necessity to the overall organization. Cummings served in this capacity for nearly two years before becoming Vice International Coordinator.

MFI Vice International Coordinator (2006-2007)

Empok Nor, MFI Headquarters

Rear Admiral Cummings took over for Admiral Laura Hartwell as the fourth Vice International Coordinator, acting as the second in command of MFI, receiving a promotion to the rank of Vice Admiral. As the Chief Executive of the Branches of MFI, Vice Admiral Cummings' first major project was tp oversee the reconstruction of the Maquis Forces Marine Corps, headed by General Trentin Anara. Cummings worked as the Commander and liasons of the Branches of Maquis Forces International.

MFS Parallax (2004 - 2008)

USS Parallax, NCC-74657
MFS Parallax, MFI-RC-74657

Originally commissioned as a STARFLEET vessel, the Parallax was commandeered by Captain Samuel Cummings, also serving in STARFLEET, using it both for STARFLEET and secretly for Maquis purposes, with a handful of key officers working with him. The Intrepid-class Parallax was decommissioned by STARFLEET after the Dominion War, because of the damage it had sustained, but a vessel that was originally slated to become the USS Bonhomme Richard was renamed the MFS Parallax in honor of its former sister ship. Later, he completely left STARFLEET, with the Parallax, recommissioning it the MFS Parallax upon becoming the International Coordinator and Commander-in-Chief of the Maquis. MFS Parallax continues to serve as Admiral Cummings' vessel and the flagship of the Maquis. A heavy carrier, it was uniquely modified to hold several Ju'Day class and Peregrine class fighters and raiders, with an overall crew of 550. FADM Cummings brought the eight-year run of the MFS Parallax to an end in 2008 with the launch of the newly commissioned MFS Premonition.

MFI International Coordinator (2007 - Current)

In the second election in MFI's history, Vice Admiral Cummings became the third International Coordinator in 2007 in a solemn, private ceremony, where he was granted the rank of Force Admiral, becoming the de-facto Commander-in-Chief of the entire organization. While Empok Nor is the Heaquarters of the organization, Force Admiral Cummings usually remains on the Flagship, allowing him to be mobile and able to respond to any needs of the Maquis, wherever they may be. One of the most advanced vessels of it's time, the Parallax was a heavily modified Nebula class vessel billed perfectly for use as the Flagship of MFI, home to Tactical Fighter and Attack Squadrons.

MFS Premonition (2008 - Current)

MFS Premonition, the Flagship of Maquis Forces International

Commissioning the MFS WAKE ISLAND program at the Badlands Naval Shipyards, along with the Maquis Security Advisor and other departments, FADM Cummings designed and directed the building of the MFS Premonition, a massive and exceptionally powerful vessel, designed and built in virtual secrecy. Armed to the teeth with the latest weaponry, Premonition was also outfitted with a temporal differential generator, which allows the vessel to fold space-time around it, not only cloaking the vessel visually and against nearly every known sensor system, a side-effect also allows Premonition's sensors to scan space and time as well. Utilizing several forms of power to generate a temporal field of such magnitude makes the vessel one of the most powerful that has ever cruised through space. Capable of firing several phaser shots and launching photon and quantum torpedoes at once, it is a formidable vessel in combat.
