Headquarters Squadron
A Headquarters Squadron uses Shuttles or Runabouts of varying classes to fill the need of a specific mission. Units are typically deployed on an "as needed" basis.
Starfighter Squadron
These Squadrons are "Direct Action" in nature and specialize in ship combat, Dog fighting, and bombing missions.
Medical Squadron
A Medical squadron consists of Runabouts of the "Medical" variant. Typically escorted by Gunships, these Runabouts provide emergency medical care for wounded Operators.
Transport Squadron
A Transport squadron consists of Runabouts of the "PAVE Intruder" variant. Typically escorted by Gunships, these Runabouts deploy teams of SEALS, Recon, Delta/Epsilon into their mission areas, provide replenishment drops when needed, and provide the ride home.
Close Air Support Squadron
