The Executive Protection Group is an arm made up of Special Security Division Officers commissioned by FADM Samuel Cummings to provide protection for the MFI Coordinator, current and retired. Among the most elite in MFI, the secretive ranks include those of military, maritime and marine background who have pledged to secure the Commander-in-Chief.

Analagous to the Starfleet Elite Guard, or the Presidential Detail of the United States Secret Service, the Executive Protection Group is trained in all aspects of combat and protection; including hand-to-hand combat, advanced weapons and tactics, field medicine and guerilla warfare.
