A few hours ago the last of the Maquis Forces returned from a failed attempt to liberate the world of Barkon IV from an unknown invader.
<cut to film clip of dirty and tired Marines and Klingon Warriors exiting runabouts on a landing field>
Maquis Forces landed on Barkon IV at around five A.M. yesterday morning and for the first several hours all was going well, then the mercenary forces seemed to rally and turn the tide against he Maquis causing the Maquis Forces to begin a more than ten hour long withdrawal from the world.

Good afternoon, I am Major Adrian Heeth, Public Information Officer MFMC. Tue April sixth at seventeen forty seven hours, Major General Rigel McBain, having lost nearly seventy percent of his Command, surrendered himself to enemy forces to buy the escape of his remaining men.
