General Overview
The Ju'Day Class is a light freighter originally designed under Federation auspices as couriers and freighters. Later, they became commonly known as "Maquis Raiders" and commonly used them in our fight against the Cardassians as Attack craft and Boarding, Commandeering vessels.
Raiders come in varying sizes. The smaller Peregrine class variant has a small cockpit with seating for two, and a cargo area in the aft section. The larger Ju'Day version has two decks. Deck One has a separate and much more spacious cockpit which holds four stations, while Deck Two has larger crew facilities, a small Sick Bay, Cargo Hold with transporter and a Cargo/Deployment ramp. These raiders have been in use for a long period of time, some using 39 year-old rebuilt engines, some with newly designed upgraded engines.
Maquis Raiders have Atmospheric flight and landing capabilities.
Atmospheric Propulsion: Maximum cruise speed is Mach 8.
Stardrive: Uses a warp engine that allows the ship to Cruise at Warp Factor 5.0, with standard Flank Speed being Warp Factor 6. Of course, our engineers have been able to upgrade our units to achieve Flank and Maximum speeds than those estimated by the Federation.
