3 December 2005 was a freezing cold and blusterly day and anyone in their right minds would have stayed indoors except for trips to stores, etc. Representatives of USS RAVEN braved the weather though and stood in front of the Toys R Us Store in Dover to ask for toy donations for the Marine Corps Reserve Program as operated in Kent County, Delaware, by the Central Delaware Detachment of the Marine Corps League.

Brain, the Detachment thanks you very much for the success you all had and for the one hundred and ten toys collectged for us. In addition, the USS Raven collected over two hundred and forty dollars for our use in obtaining additional toys for the needy youngsters.

Thank you very much and a Merry Christmas to all of you from Dennis and me.
