bar.jpg </center> Consummated during the brief marriage of Dr. Leonard McCoy and High Priestess Natira, Robert James (for James Kirk) McCoy was born on the "Asteroid" Space Ship Yonada after his father's return to the USS Enterprise. Yearning to learn of the life outside his "hollow world", Robert requested transport off of Yonada and joined Starfleet when he reached legal age of consent.

After graduating Starfleet Academy's Officer Training School, following in his father's footsteps, Robert enrolled in Starfleet Academy's College of Medicine to earn his Medical Degree. Dr. R. McCoy has successfully completed several SACOM Specialties with honors and is considered to be a superb Surgeon with an excellent grasp of comparative alien anatomy. Dr. R. McCoy has enhanced peaceful relationships with several civilizations through both the use and sharing of his surgical and healing abilities, earning him the Shuvalis Diamond of Recognition and Federation Peace Medal.

Robert has served with various Starfleet S.E.A.L.S. Teams as a Doctor where he earned the Karagite Order of Heroism with cluster, Starfleet Medal of Valor, as well as the Prantares Ribbon with cluster. He holds Level 13 Phaser standings with several varieties of small arms weapons, is trained in demolition and is proficient in hand-to-hand combat. Robert advanced to LCDR becoming Chief Medical Officer and Team Leader of SEALS Team 2-A aboard the Ambassador Class vessel USS Royal Sovereign NCC-1674, in Region Two, commanded by CAPT Kaye Downing.

Upon graduation from SFA's Officer Command College with Honors, Robert was recruited to the position of Ship's XO and Team Leader of SEALS Team 2-J aboard the prototype Nebula Class vessel USS Nebula NCC-61800, in Region Two, under command of CAPT Gary Davis. During this period LCDR McCoy was pulled for several SEALS special assignments which earned him the SEALS Federation Commander's Star Class 1, the Dominion Legion of Merit awards and a promotion to the Starfleet rank of Full Commander.

After successful completion of the prototype Nebula Class Starship project, CDR McCoy accepted the position of SEALS' Research and Development. From there, Robert advanced to become SEALS Operations Command's Chief of Staff holding the Rank of Vice Admiral.

Completely disagreeing with Starfleet's Politics and the Federation / Cardassian Peace Treaty, VADM McCoy abandoned Starfleet ties to help his former C.O., Gary Davis form Maquis Forces International. Admiral R. McCoy is currently serving as Dean of the Maquis Academy College of Medicine (MACOM). Most recently, the Admiral headed up the Multi-Service Fighter (WYVERN) Project. Robert only actively practices Emergency Field Medicine now on Special Away Team missions.

bar.jpg </center> Rob's fandom experiences started with the Starfleet International Chapter, USS Royal Sovereign in Orange Park, FL. Signing aboard as a general member, it was only a months later that he finished OTS and received his commission as an officer when he assumed the position of Medical Officer. Over the next year he served as CMO an attended many conventions, helping with security and promoted to LCDR. As the club suffered from growing pains and the divergence of members' interests, he and seven members of the Royal Sovereign split from the mother ship to became their own chapter. Six months later at the Starfleet International Conference, Shuttle craft Nebula was bestowed full chapter status and became USS Nebula. Rob was promoted to Full Commander.

Rob also held rank in another Trek organization called Starfleet SEALS Operations Command, where he held positions as Team Leader for Royal Sovereign, then Team Leader for USS Nebula. After showing his organizational skills with these two teams, Rob was promoted to SEALS Region 2 Coordinator, then, later to Chief of Staff for SEALS Command H.Q.

After moving to Palm Bay, FL Rob started establishing a sister ship to USS Nebula called USS Sutherland. Before the Starfleet paperwork had a chance to go through, Nebula & Sutherland became disheartened by the politics of the organization, the money mongering and the pettiness of the national leadership which should have no place in fandom. Sutherland and Nebula voted to go independent and form an internet based alliance of independent Trek Clubs in Florida called Maquis. After another few months, other independent clubs around the country heard of us on the net, thus Maquis Forces was born. Rob was initially appointed Chief of Operations for MFI and assumed command of MFI's On-Line College of Medicine. Admiral Johnson has since held the positions of Maquis Chief Advisor, Chief of Staff and is currently serving as MFI's International Coordinator.

Rob graduated High School in Miami, FL in 1971 and Graduated Miami Dade Community College with an AS Degree in Medical Lab Technology. Entering the US Navy in October, 1974, Rob was assigned basic training in Orlando Florida, but due to a SNAFU, ended up in Great Lakes, IL. Upon completion of basic training he received Hospital Corpsman training, also at Great Lakes Naval Training Center, where he was Master at Arms. After basic Hospital Corps School, it was on to Camp Pendleton, CA where he attended Field Medical Training School. Upon Graduation from these schools, Rob served as a field medic for 1st Marine Division as well as an EMT/ER Tech for NRMC Camp Pendleton. As an HM3, in 1976 Rob was transferred to Brooks Air Force Base in San Antonio, TX to attend Aerospace Physiology Training School, where he learned to teach Anatomy & Physiology of the body as it pertains to Atmospheric changes and put Air Crew candidates through the rigors of Hyperbaric and Hypobaric Chambers, Ejection Seat training, Parachute drags on land & water, the "Dilbert Dunker", Water Survival and Desert Survival. Rob spent the rest of his enlistment at Pacific Missile Training Center, Point Mugu, CA in the "Crew Systems" office teaching Physiology and working on several classified joint military R&D programs.

Attending the St. Pete Community College in Clearwater, FL, Rob received his second AS in Emergency Medicine while working as an ER Tech for Mease Hospital Dunedin, and for East Lake Fire & Rescue as a Fire Medic. Rob also later worked for Clearwater Fire Rescue.

In June of 1985, Rob married the former Kim Marie Klafehn of Brockport, NY. Although they have no children, Rob and Kim currently have an adopted retired greyhound from "Greyhound Pets of America" named Agnes.

When Rob's wife, a Navy Nurse, was assigned to NAS Jax, Rob went to work for Orange Park Fire Rescue. Upon Kim's release from Active Duty, the Johnsons moved to Palm Bay, FL where Rob went to work for Harbor City Vol. Ambulance Service as a Training Supervisor. Rob is once again working in the Fire Service as a Fire-Medic for Melbourne Fire Rescue and is teaching the Paramedic curriculum part time for Space Coast Paramedic & EMT Institute. His teaching credentials include: CPR Instructor Trainer, ACLS, PALS, and BTLS Instructor and PHTLS Affiliate Faculty.

Rob & Kim currently spend their spare time riding their Motorcycles. Rob currently rides a 2003 Goldwing (GL1800), while Kim is customizing her 2002 Suzuki Volusia
