Authorization Order 3010 - Confirmation of Marine Corps Commandant

WHEREAS, The International Coordinator of MFI, serves as Commander-in-Chief of the Force; and

WHEREAS, the Commandant of the Maquis Forces Marine Corps resigned ans was relieved on 22 July 2008; and

WHEREAS, Colonel Oliver Savander, Sr. has served honorably and dutifully as Acting Commandant of the Marine Corps; and

WHEREAS, Force Colonel Marc Easterly has distinguished himself through many projects and is seen as the best fit to succeed to the position of Commandant of the Maquis Forces Marine Corps.

NOW THEREFORE, I, Samuel S. H. Cummings, pursuant to the powers vested in me as International Coordinator and Commander-in-Chief of Maquis Forces International, hereby ORDER the following:

1. Commendation of COL Oliver Savander, Sr.

• Thank you for your continued dedication in the Maquis Forces Marine Corps. Your service to the MFMC has been appreciated. Bravo Zulu!
  

2. Confirmation of FCOL Marc Easterly as MFMC Commandant.

• After candidates for MFMC Commandant were vetted and discussed, the Coordinator Council recommended to the IC that FCOL Marc Easterly succeed as Commandant of the Maquis Forces Marine Corps. FCOL Marc Easterly is to repair and report to MFMC Headquarters to be briefed by, and relieve COL Oliver Savander, Sr., Acting Commandant, MFMC.
  

3. Invalidity of any part of this order shall not effect the remainder of this order.

4. This order is effective immediately upon filing.
