Description of club and what they do there:
Maquis Forces International (MFI) is a social fan club based on the Maquis of ST:TNG, ST:DS9, and ST:VOY renown. It is advertised as apolitical and having little in the way of mandatory activities. It has several interest departments for role-play and social interaction. MFI has a well-developed symbology with uniforms, rank systems, and fictitious titles for its members to play around with. In addition, and related, there is a separate quartermaster program for purchase of such accoutrements. The main site of MFI is in wiki format, and members are free to adapt their user and chapter areas as they will. Activities on the club level include intramural challenges, role-play games, and academy courses.

As you can see, while there can be a bit of information, it is not so overwhelming for SOC members to collect. This page, once we have something to start from, will have the clubs listed and linked in a table of contents - the extraneous writing will be removed. A jazzier name may be chosen as well as a better description. :)
