Relative Bearing
Bearing Divided into 360 Degrees around the Horizontal Plane of the ship. |
Mark Divided into 360 Degrees around the Vertical Plane of the ship. |
Examples
Another vessel's Horizontal position in relation to your direction of travel is Bearing 301.
Another vessel's Vertical position in relation to your direction of travel is Mark 10.
This vessel's relative position in relation to your direction of travel is Bearing 329 Mark 322.
This vessel's position is Bearing 087 Mark ___ .
Answer: 30
This vessel's position is approximately Bearing 19 Mark ___ .
Answer: 38
