|The Medical runabout is parked on Pad F at MFI Headquarters - Empok Nor.

Ideally, a runabout is piloted by two to four crew members, although one pilot will suffice. The pilot's consoles are forward facing in front of two large windows. The bridge section can accommodate up to five people.  The two large windows are equipped with retractable blast shutters. View screens mounted within the forward corners of the cabin are used for External View Screens, Video Communication and Ship Status displays.

The Scorched Earth was designed with the idea for a craft that would provide close air support for ground assault troops. The Scorched Earth contains two torpedo launchers that are mounted on the top of the hull and upgraded phaser arrays, The Scorched Earth can carry either photon or phased torpedoes . This allows shuttle to destroy enemy troops facilities and armored units. The Scorched Earth also has reinforced armor on the under carriage and rear to fend off enemy fire. The ship can only hold enough room for the primary crew as the rear is used to house torpedo magazines, these magazines are also designed for quick load so that when the shuttle has exhausted its payload it can return to its primary ship for a fast reload. <br><br>

The Scorched Earth was designed with the idea for a craft that would provide close air support for ground assault troops. The Scorched Earth contains two torpedo launchers that are mounted on the top of the hull and upgraded phaser arrays, The Scorched Earth can carry either photon or phased torpedoes . This allows shuttle to destroy enemy troops facilities and armored units. The Scorched Earth also has reinforced armor on the under carriage and rear to fend off enemy fire.
