Finally. It is here! This is such a wonderful idea, having a themed dvd collection. As the first such release, this collection gathers the best ten episodes, as voted by fans, showcasing one of the best continuing adversaries in Trek--the Borg. Later, subsequent collections are to follow such as "Star Trek: Fan Collective – Time Travel" dvd collection and "Star Trek: Q Fan Collective" dvd collection. Coupled with the "STAR TREK-FIRST CONTACT Special Edition" dvd due for release at the end of March 2006, the true Trek SuperFan will be able to enjoy the best of the Borg.
As quoted from StarTrek-dot-com, "[Released] on March 7, 2006 for the first time is a collection of the best Borg episodes on DVD from CBS DVD and Paramount Pictures Home Entertainment. "Star Trek: Fan Collective – BORG" features the Top 10 fan-favorite episodes that aired over the span of 14 years, chronicling the encounters of three separate starship crews, including those from StarTrek: The Next Generation, Voyager and Enterprise, as they contend with their most feared adversary."
