I don't kow what Barb's opinion on it would be as this has yet to come through Awards. As is until it is submitted, such wings won't be shown on the Hall, where as all the Marine MEKK awards have gone through there and are Hall Approved. | ||

Hey what's the big idea ?
The Crossed Sabres are the exclusive insignia of the Marine MEKK Branch.
Is there something else you could use ?

Uhhhh...
The insignia says: "The SOC RECON WINGS will be awarded upon successfully passing the SOC LAM MEKK Course, SOC 202."... Shouldn't all MEKK be the same? Speaking strictly as a quartermaster, the idea of two different insignias to denote the same accmplishment (MEKK) for two different branches would seem a little redundant. We have the same wings for all branches, so the crossed sabers to denote MEKK accomplishment sounds logical. Am I off base here?
