This edict details the creation and authorities of the Division Operations Commander.
With the growing population and expansion of the Sim Division, I have decided that there is a need for a secondary 'Administrative Position'. I believe that with this growing expansion, an Operations Head should be introduced who would be a maintainer, creator and updater of Page.
Effective Immediately, the position of Division Operations Commander has been created to meet the needs of the Division as whole.
The Operations Commander would have full editing authority within the Division as well as Administrative Authority over the SIM List Serv.
He/She would not however have the powers of promotion / demotion unless He/She held a Division Command.
However, under extreme circumstances such as a Leave of Absence from the Division Commander, the Ops Commander would have temporary control and oversee issues that could not await the reinstated activeness of the Commander. In the event of noticeably increased inactivity by a Junior Crew Member, The Ops Commander is within rights to check on the status of that Officer in particular.
With the Roles and Authorities herein published, Rear Admiral Steve Lackey is assigned as the Division Operations Commander.
