The MFS Parallax is the only Amphibous Command Vessel in MFI. Specially fitted with a special sensor and communications dome, it can coordinate the efforts of the entire Maquis movement or a large battle group. As well as a communications hub, it is also converted as a Carrier, holding several Ju'Day class fighters as well as several Peregrine class Raiders. Founded as a dual chapter of STARFLEET, The International Star Trek Fan Association, Inc and Maquis Forces International, The Parallax calls MFI it's home. Commissioned in MFI in 2001 and later that year in SFI through the Existing Fan Club Program (EFCP), she's gone through an interesting past as one of the most dynamic chapters of either organization.
