General Overview
| With the Maquis spy network growing within the headquarters of Starfleet Command, plans for a new class of Runabout were transmitted to Terko Nor, the Maquis' HQ in the Badlands. This experimental class is everything the current Danube Class ships are plus much more. The sleeker, state of the art design borrow elements from the lastest shuttlecraft, Delta Flyer prototype, and traditional Runabouts. MFS Athena and many of her sister ships are undergoing test and shakedowns to serve as another fleet of multipurpose craft for the Maquis.
